Authority Blueprint X...Comprehensive Review

I've been at this Internet marketing game long enough to know that there really isn't a lot out there that's new and innovative. However, some folks do a darn sight better job of explaining basic things and even adding in some cool twists than others. Those are the nuggets I look for. And Authority Blueprint X is one of them. I can't say that there is much in here that I didn't already know, but I've been marketing online for over 6 years, so that gives me a bit of an unfair advantage when it comes to looking at "how to" books. However, I was very impressed with what I read. And the kicker to this product, the template that you get in order to make the whole process so much easier, is almost worth the cost of the product itself.

Anyway, what you are about to read is a complete, no holds barred review of Authority Blueprint X. I'm not going to sugar coat anything. Where I feel the product is lacking, I will say so. Where I think it kicks butt, I will do the same. By the time you're done reading this, you should have an excellent idea of whether or not Authority Blueprint X is something that will help you with your Internet marketing efforts.

Okay, let's begin.

The product is composed of 3 PDF files and a Wordpress template, which is probably the cherry on this banana split. It is THAT good. There are also bonus MP3 files of interviews with Mike Filsaime, John Reese, Russell Brunson, Willie Crawford, Yanik Silver and Ted Nicholas. The Ted Nicholas MP3 sound quality is not so great but the other ones are excellent. I'm not going to review each bonus because the interviews are quite long. Reese goes on for 2 hours. That man can talk. In a nutshell, are the audios worth listening to? Yes, as they deal more with mindset than "how to's" You won't learn much in the way of "do this and do that", though there is some of that, but you will get into the heads of these guys, which to me is priceless. Just makes sure you put aside a lot of time for the interviews.

As for the PDF files, the first one is titled "Building Your Authority X Site" The PDF begins with explaining what an Authority X Site actually is, and yes, it is a certain kind of a site that you put together. It's not just content but a specific kind of content. It's something I've actually been doing for some time now so I know how effective these sites are.

The PDF then goes into how to choose a niche, how to do keyword research, how to choose products to sell and how to put your site together. It's all pretty basic stuff if you've done any kind of niche research before but it's critical to understand in order to get everything that comes after it right. So I understand why Alvin Huang, the author, goes into this basic instruction. Without it, new folks would be totally lost. However, I can honestly say that even though this PDF is very basic, except for the actual building of the site, Alvin explains it in a way that is very simple to understand. I'll be honest with you. I usually get very bored reading these books because most of the info is so old hat for me, but this book kept my interest. That is saying an awful lot. The entire PDF is 25 pages long so it's not a difficult read.

The second PDF is titled "Turning Your Authority X Site Profitable." This PDF is only 19 pages. In this PDF Alvin covers what I feel is the best way to promote any site online without going broke in the process...using article marketing. Now, if you've gotten my own book on this subject, you'll find that we have slightly different approaches. I don't agree with everything that Alvin has in this book. I especially don't agree with some of his resource box techniques. I strongly recommend that you use mine instead. I do like his one little trick with resource boxes that got his clickthroughs to go from 22% to 68%. It is a very effective technique. For the most part, this PDF is okay. It's not going to knock your eyeballs out but it's certainly quality info. Like I said, I think most of my resource box tactics are better and I'll show you how you can get my book absolutely free later on.

In addition to the actual writing of articles, Alvin goes into some really cool tricks to get traffic by using RSS, I have to admit, I'm not a big RSS fan. I just never had the time to get into it. But these tricks are cool. I honestly never even knew you could do some of this stuff. He then also goes into outsourcing articles for those who don't like to write. But, in my opinion, that's for later on after you've made some money. Outsourcing can get very expensive and if you're not making a profit, it can be a real drain.

PDF 3 is where this product really shines. Here is where Alvin completely goes over how to suck every last drop out of your Wordpress blogs, which is essentially what this system revolves around. He goes over every optimization technique there is in complete step by step detail.

But that's just the beginning.

In this PDF, Alvin goes over the entire Authority blueprint for putting content on your site. There is an actual flowchart with a real live example, paragraph by paragraph, explaining what content goes where and why. I have never in my 6 years of marketing online seen anything in such explicit detail. This one PDF is worth the price of the whole package. Finally, somebody shows you EXACTLY what to do in such a way that you'd have to be brain dead not to be able to duplicate it for any niche.

But there is still more.

See, this content blueprint is not so easy to tackle with a common Wordpress blog. You need to have a certain kind of theme to make this really work well. Alvin provides the template for you with the package. This is a Wordpress theme. And don't worry, it comes with a PDF readme file with instructions on how to install the theme. It's very easy. This theme makes putting up content on your blog so it's just right, a breeze. I can see no other way to really get authority sites looking good without it.

But I'm still not done.

In this PDF, which is 45 pages long, Alvin also goes over how to create a Squidoo lens that is just right for this system. Again, it's in explicit step by step detail so that anybody can follow it. Plus, he also goes over how to create video articles. Honestly, this is not the main focus of the product so this instruction is very basic. If you want to get a really great product about creating videos, get Kevin Riley's book on video creation. It is the best one out there hands down. The tips in this PDF are basic and that's all. You won't get any killer video creation secrets out of it.

Finally, Alvin finishes up with a chapter he calls "Putting Your RSS Feeds On Steroids." I have to admit, Alvin knows a lot more about RSS than I do and I found this stuff fascinating. Depending upon how much you know or don't know about RSS, you will find the info accordingly.

Okay, here is my evaluation of this whole package in a nutshell.

The first 2 PDFs are throwaways if you've been doing this a while. It's basic stuff that a 1 year marketer should know. If you're brand new, you better read it or you're going to be lost.

PDF 3 is one of the best things you're going to buy...period. And the Wordpress template is a must have if you're going to do this right.
